CHARM: Voices of Baltimore Youth
CHARM: Voices of Baltimore Youth is a literary arts organization founded on the belief that kids’ voices matter. Since 2019 I have provided support to this wonderful non-profit in the form of educational speaking engagements with the student board, graphic design for print and web, and consultations with the executive staff.

In 2020 I refreshed the CHARM Website to provide a more comprehensive experience for the organization as they began to rapidly grow. This involved designing an engaging, user-friendly interface that featured dynamic content, visually compelling layouts, and updated navigation options. This site provides CHARM with a powerful platform to share youth-led stories, insights, and artistic work.

These literary magazines feature student writing and artwork, and are produced by CHARM youth editors. The publications team conceptualized each collection’s theme, evaluated student submissions, both written word and artwork, and designed the cover elements. From 2019-2023 I provided guidance to the Student Editorial Board, and ultimately was responsible for laying out the final book and cover for print.
